Oh, wow, I'm so glad I'm back on my blog! I had to go back to the place where I go to uni for a few days (because I had to write an exam and I was invited to the "goodbye party" of someone who is going abroad), and when I came to my apartment I soon found out that my internet connection doesn't work anymore. The downsides of modern technology!
Anyway, let's come to this posts pictures:
When I "composed" this outfit, I very probably had the following pictures in the back of my head, which I found on Garance Dore's site a while ago. (The file name tells me the this lady's name is Elisa Nalin, in case you want to know.)
Seriously, I love those accessoiries-specials that sometimes come with fashion magazines! (And while we're at it: I also love the runway-specials. Even if you've seen some of the clothes on style.com, it's a different thing to look at them on paper.)
Here I scanned 4 shoes, which I fell for while browsing the latest issue of ELLE magazine (German).
Not sure about the pants, but aren't these red Prada kitten-heels amazing? I generally feel a red-shoe-trend coming on. Am I right?
I got up at five am today to see my parents off, who were collected by a taxi which is going to bring them to a bus, whith which they are going on holiday to tuscany. Much as I love my parents, I always love these times when I have the house to myself. It's a lot better than being alone at my own apartment for some reason. I spent the morning having an elongated breakfast and commenting on other people's blogs to my hearts content. And then this came on the radio:
Two almost identical outfits of two different days. I took the pictures below on a pretty gloomy day (and using the flash) which is why they had to be edited.
As I told you before , I won a gift voucher. Here is what I ordered from "Naketano" online shop:
This shirt is not only casual-chic, but also comfy and of good quality. My mum couln't believe that I actually got something "real" for my voucer from the "dubious" internet shop. As they had sales at the time, the 30€ voucher was enough for the shirt and the hat. I still had to pay 5,95€ for shipping, but I call this a bargain.
As I probably won't be traveling anywhere this year, I thought, I'd show some more pictures from my trip to Paris a year ago.
My hotel room was on the 6th floor, this is the view straight down out of the window.Conciergerie, BouquinistesThe pyramid at the LouvreThe famous hotel Ritz at Place VendomeNotre Dame photographed from a boat on the Seine.Arc du Triomphe: I had to take the picture really fast while crossing the street.A museum with moss growing on the walls. Hotel Plaza Athenee known from "Sex and the City" (obviously not where we stayed)
The following pictures were taken by my father when my parents were in Paris. The second one is amazing, isn't it?
This is the second post of a series that I christened "Trend Collage", but of course black is not a trend. -Because it's never gone. Not from the runways and much less from the streets. And whenever we don't know what to wear and whenever we are tired of prints, pale pink blazers and summery lightness, we can rely on it. (Click on picture to enlarge)
Pictures from: style.com, THESTREETFASHION5XPRO, Karla's Closet, Barbie is my sister, a fashion odyssee ..uhm and two more sites
I read that today is "international cat day". It's probably an invention of the pet-food industry rather than a real holiday, but I'd use any excuse to post cute cat pictures.
I have so many outfit pictures on my computer that want to be shown! The following are from June and I think I was a little influenced by this style that day. Furthermore, I find it remarkable that I am wearing a Jean shirt with wide pants and flats -a combination that a few years ago my mother might have worn (with shoes in a different color), but not I.
So sieht das obige Bild nachbearbeitet aus:
